How to get here by car
Leaving Amsterdam, you opt for the A4 highway in the direction of The Hague. You’ll pass Schiphol and after 29 kilometers number 7 Zoeterwoude Dorp/Leiden. Take the N206 to Leiden and turn right before the Vliet.
If you’re coming from The Hague or Rotterdam the A4 is your highway too. From Utrecht: take the A12 and N11 to reach the A4 in the direction of The Hague.
Leiden Central Station is in the heart of town and nearby, but Leiden Lammenschans is even nearer to Tuk aan de Vliet: 10 minute by foot. From Leiden Central Station trains and buses leave for Lammenschans several times an hour.
From Schiphol Airport
There’s a direct connection from Schiphol to Tuk aan de Vliet: the A4 highway. You may take a taxi from the airport. But if you’re flying in at a decent time taking a train to Leiden Central Station and then a taxi from there is loads cheaper.
